Chairman: Dennis Guy - Dennis was previously Executive Chairman of InterRISK Australia Pty Ltd, a major corporate insurance broking company which he established in 2004. Dennis has demonstrated success in the management and development of insurance broking organisations with more than 40 years in Europe, USA, Australia and Asia. Dennis joined Jardine Matheson in Hong Kong in 1976 and remained for 25 years. He was chairman of Jardine Lloyd Thompson in Asia Pacific for more than 10 years until 2002. Dennis was also a main board Director of Jardine Insurance Brokers PLC which listed in the London Stock Exchange in 1992. Dennis was founding Director of Executive Health Solutions Pty Ltd which delivers professional and comprehensive health programs for corporations and individuals. Dennis is focused on corporate governance and risk management within Jointaction.
CEO: Garry Gosling - Garry brings with him over 40 years sales and marketing experience within the global IT and services sectors, as well as strong experience in startup management and development within Australia and Asia. Garry managed the sales and marketing of a startup company from $0 p/a to over $30m p/a within 2 years. Garry has a strong corporate governance experience and lectured at Deakin University MBA Program in Entrepreneurship for more than 10 years.
Manager of Product Development: Michael Lawrance - Michael has worked in state and national industry injury prevention projects in shearing and horse racing and worked in senior safety management roles in underground mining. Michael trained in occupational therapy (physical and psychological training), ergonomics and safety; followed by research in workplace design and hazardous physical work injury prevention before helping to found Jointaction.
Director of Consulting Services: David Bick – David is an award-winning Sports Physiotherapist having received the Australian Sports Medal, committing his career to inspiring Australians from early development up to elite athlete level and has travelled and worked with such teams as the Wallabies and Fiji Rugby Union. He lectures domestically and internationally on overuse injuries such as tendinopathies, neural entrapment and running assessment and mechanics. David has led successful consulting projects with Jointaction for more than 10 years and is a founding shareholder committed to expansion of client consulting globally.
Director of Technology: Roscoe McCord – Roscoe’s ability to translate complex concepts into manageable algorithms is core to the patent developed by Jointaction. Roscoe has been the technical lead in the development of Jointaction from the inception and now oversees the development and support team. Roscoe is a founding shareholder.
Director: Dr. Forbes Smith - Dr Smith is a Medical Graduate Aberdeen University Scotland. Dr Smith has been a Medical Practitioner/Anesthetist at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, in Canada and Australia where he was engaged in General and Spinal surgery. As Founder and Medical Director of Nabenet (national back evaluation network), a multidisciplinary post spinal surgery and occupational rehabilitation provider, he developed his passion in MSD injury risk minimisation. Dr Smith is a pioneer in bringing MSD prevention to Australia.
Director of Product Strategy: Stephen Cowley PhD, BSc (Hons) (OHS ), MSc (Occ Hyg), GCert(Ed), FSIA, GIOSH – Steve is a member of the UK’s IOSH, a Fellow of the Safety Institute of Australia, Editor-in-Chief of the Safety Institute of Australia’s Journal of Health & Safety Research & Practice, a visiting lecturer at Swinburne University and a visiting academic with Middlesex University. Steve’s focus has been the practical application of hazard management and industrial hygiene principles.
Strategic Consultant: John Pryor – John is one of the world’s leading elite sports trainers. John completed his masters’ degree researching muscle mechanics and has international publications in sports medicine, ergonomics, biomechanics and strength training journals. He works extensively with athletes while maintaining an ongoing role in occupational health. John is a founding shareholder of Jointaction.
